OnPoint History

As sophomores at Miami University, founders Nick Dadas and Joe Haddad were involved in several on-campus clubs and organizations that ordered hundreds of custom t-shirts. After their own less-than-favorable experience with the local print shop, they saw an opportunity to better serve the needs of those organizations by providing quicker turnaround, lower pricing, and superior customer service. So, as any true entrepreneurs would do, they created their own company—University Tees.

As University Tees grew, the company began to receive orders and inquiries for custom apparel and promotional products from corporate clients. With years of experience in the industry, Nick and Joe knew that the needs of these corporations were the same as those of the campus organizations they’d served over the years — quality products at affordable prices, delivered with the highest level of personal service. However, Nick and Joe also quickly realized that those companies often needed unique, high-impact products to meet the objectives of their specific projects or business initiatives. Furthermore, many of them didn’t have the time or desire to search through pages and pages of catalogs to find the perfect product for their marketing mix or tradeshow needs.

To better serve the needs of the B2B market, the two seasoned entrepreneurs started OnPoint in 2006. OnPoint has grown in leaps and bounds over the years and now serves a wide breadth of organizations ranging from non-profits and small businesses to professional sports teams and large corporations. All the while, the company has remained true to its entrepreneurial and value-centric roots. Headquartered in Lakewood, Ohio, OnPoint now serves both local and national clients and strives to provide the very best customer experience in the industry.
